is an organization dedicated to assisting in the betterment of Georgia collegiate journalism and providing a reciprocal
flow of information between its member colleges. Membership to GCPA is an excellent opportunity for print journalism students to discuss common issues of college newspapers and to network with newspaper professionals.

UPCOMING DATES OF NOTE
Membership application deadline is October 19, 2009
Best Website Category entry deadline is November 2, 2009*
Better Newspaper Contest entry deadline is December 4, 2009*
2010 Press Institute will be held Friday, February 5 and Saturday,
February 6, 2010 at The Classic Center in Athens, Georgia.
*Contest rules will be available for download online no later than
September 14, 2009.
